WikiVision: 2023 Milestones
Riley’s Way 2023 Grant
In May of 2023, the WikiVision team was honored to be accepted as fellows for the Riley’s Way Foundation Call for Kindness grant! This national grant provides resources and funding to youth leaders from across the country in order to help hundreds of initiatives to develop their projects. We are incredibly grateful to all of the support that the Riley’s Way Foundation has given us!
Several of our team members also had the opportunity to attend the Call for Kindness Fellow’s Retreat in Atlanta, Georgia, where they had the chance to learn about the changemaking initiatives of over 60 other youth leaders from across the United States. They attended workshops and lectures given by other successful changemakers, gaining perspective and planning out WikiVision’s next steps as a nonprofit.
Cataract Surgery Day 2023
WikiVision’s 2023 surgery day was our most successful yet, as our surgeons, along with the Eye Surgery Center of Hawaii, restored sight to 36 in-need patients from all over the island! Our team is very grateful to all of the incredible volunteers and supporters who allowed this surgery day to happen!
Fundraising Concert 2023
WikiVision’s third annual fundraising concert was held in person at ‘Iolani School! Featuring 14 student performers from across the state and with over 115 attendees, our concert helped us achieve our fundraising goal! Thank you to everyone who helped us make this day possible, and for all of those who came out to support us!
