Cataract Surgery Day 2026
30 patients received sight-restoring cataract surgery through WikiVision’s sixth annual free cataract surgery day on September 12, 2026. This year’s event was made possible by the surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, volunteers, community partners, and sponsors who came together to make vision care accessible to those in need. It was also the first year our board included medical students with interests in ophthalmology, leadership, and community care, who helped bring new energy and perspective to the event.
